Logout Button

A Logout Button is an Action Button configured to delete the current Session of a user when clicked.

The button must be configured with the logout action.

Configuration

The following fields can be used to configure a logout button.

– | –
Action | The button action, must be logout
Reload | Whether to reload the page upon successful logout
Confirm | Whether to ask the user for confirmation before executing the action
Return URI | The return URI base if reload above is enabled

Example

A simple logout button can be found in the remote widgets. The following animated GIF illustrates how the widget is used to insert a logout button into any page. After following the simple tutorial you can inspect the button properties to see how it is configured.

Note that a resource access grant _logout needs to exist for users to be able to log out. See this tutorial for an example on how to create Login/Logout Forms.
