Server APIs / Interfaces

To access data stored in Structr and interact with the functionality it provides, there are a couple of technical interfaces to connect with the server backend.

The most important and most versatile API is the REST API, providing access to any data and a broad range of additional functions like maintenance commands or the schema resources.

The virtual file system in Structr can also be accessed via the standard file protocols FTP and CMIS, and you can login via SSH to interact using basic shell commands or copy files via SCP.

Binary files can also be uploaded via the HTTP upload.

An additional XMPP interface adds another option to interact with Structr as if it were a messenger bot.
