Create Button

A Create Button is an Action Button configured to create database objects of a specified type when clicked. It can be connected to Active Input Elements to supply property values to the creation action. The property values can even be other database objects, see Creating more complex Forms.

Configuration

The following fields can be used to configure a create button.

Element ID Optional, can be used to group input fields and buttons by using a common value
Example: create_project
Action The button action, must be create:<type> for the create action
Example: create:Project
Attributes Optional, a comma-separated list of names of Active Input Elements
Example: name, description
Reload Whether to reload the page upon successful creation
Confirm Whether to ask the user for confirmation before executing the action
Return URI The return URI base if reload above is enabled
Append ID Whether to append the ID of the newly created object to the return URI above
