A Login Button is an Action Button configured to create a new login Session when clicked. The button must be connected to two Active Input Elements that are configured to provide an e-mail and a password string. The login button must be configured with the login action and the names of the active input fields must be listed in the attributes field.

The following fields can be used to configure a login button.

– | –
Action | The button action, must be login for the login action

Attributes | The Active Input Elements for the login operation
Example: username, password
Reload | Whether to reload the page upon successful deletion
Confirm | Whether to ask the user for confirmation before executing the action
Return URI | The return URI base if reload above is enabled

A simple login form can be found in the remote widgets. The following animated GIF illustrates how the widget is used to create a login page. After following the simple tutorial you can inspect the button properties to see how it is configured.

Note that a resource access grant _login needs to exist for users to be able to log in. See this tutorial for an example on how to create Login/Logout Forms.
