Keyboard Shortcuts

The backend UI of structr offers some keyboard shortcuts.

General shortcuts

Shortcut Action
Ctrl + Alt + c Toggles the builtin console
Shift + Tab Toggles the mode of the builtin console
Ctrl + Alt + p Opens a browser dialog where the user can input a UUID for which the properties dialog will be opened
Ctrl + Alt + g Opens a browser dialog where the user can input a UUID for which the access control dialog will be opened
Ctrl + Alt + f Toggles the favorites
Ctrl + Alt + h (Schema only:) Hides the currently selected schema types
Ctrl + Alt + s Opens the refactoring dialog helper

Editor shortcuts

In most editor dialogs the usual shortcuts Ctrl + S and Esc are used to Save and Quit the editor.
This works in editors for files, content elements, templates, function properties and the editor in the Code area.

Flow Editor

Shortcut Action
Ctrl (Hold) Add elements to selection with left click
Shift (Hold) Move every element in current selection by holding and moving left mouse button
Alt + x Executes current flow
Alt + s Shortcut to save current layout
Alt + l Brings up layout manager
Ctrl + o Logs all selected node’s UUIDs to console
Ctrl + p Selects the node with given UUID
Ctrl + Alt + c Copy currently selected elements
Ctrl + Alt + v Paste copied elements into current flow
Alt + Shift + LeftClick (Hold/Drag) Bring up area selection tool
