Custom Action Button

A Custom Action Button is an Action Button configured to execute a Custom Method on a database object when clicked. The button can be connected to a set of Active Input Elements to supply parameters to the execution of the custom action.

Configuration

The following fields can be used to configure a custom action button.

Element ID | Must be set to the ID of the database object on which the custom method is to be executed
Action | The button action, must be set to the name and type of the custom method
Example: doSendMail:EMail
Attributes | Optional, a comma-separated list of names of Active Input Elements
Example: fromAddress, toAddress, subject
Reload | Whether to reload the page upon successful execution
Confirm | Whether to ask the user for confirmation before executing the action
Return URI | The return URI base if reload above is enabled
